This is typical side dish in Poland, but not typically spiced with thyme and chilli. Try it once and you will definitely gonna stick to this version.
Ingredients (2 servings)
200-300g of green beans
1-2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1-2 tbsp of butter (vegetarian version) or margarine (vegan version)
few sticks of fresh thyme
chilli
salt
1. Cook or even better steam green beans
2. Heat butter or margarine on the pan, add breadcrumbs, thyme, chilli and salt
3. Heat breadbrumbs stirring until they turn golden brown and crispy
4. Spread fried breadcrumbs on top of cooked green beans
